Volunteer
The Aiken Hook a Kid On Golf clinics are run entirely by volunteers. Normally, there are 12 – 16 volunteers participating each day to allow the clinic to run smoothly. All types of volunteers are needed!
Absolutely not, though many of our volunteers love the game of golf, we are made up of golfers of all levels and several non-golfers. We have some veteran volunteers and golf professionals to lead the sessions, but additional help is needed with the sessions, lunches, escorting children for water/bathroom breaks, etc.
Absolutely, with summer vacations, we gladly welcome help on whatever days may work for you. Some of our volunteers are even on a “call as needed” basis if it is determined that a clinic will be short-handed.
Clinics typically run from 8:30 – 11:00 on Monday and Friday, and from 8:30 – 12:30 on Tuesday – Thursday.
Yes, we always need extra hands to pick up the food, pour the drinks, clean up afterwards, etc. This would be from around 11:00 – 12:30 on Tuesdays – Thursdays.
